Hyperbole and a Half | Depression: Part Two

Perfect in every way.
… And this is why I’m medicated.

This is what I imagine doing acid is like

I’ve not done acid myself, but given my experiences with people who were on it, and their descriptions, I’d say there’s waaaay more facial expressions involved there. Or, anywhere. Just, a lot more expressions. And feels. All over the place. In neon rainbow splashes.

I’ve never done it either…. my friends I was around doing it had various reactions

True. And also part of why I didn’t mess with acid. Especially after told that the effects kinda depend on what’s in your head to begin with. I knew, early on, that giving my brain that much ammunition to fuck with me would be a horrible idea, given what it did with what it had. It’s the sort of brain that likes to turn loved ones into skeletons while I lie next to them. IMO, guaranteed bad trip.
Partially confirmed when I accidentally ingested another hallucinogen. It was super mild, but even with minor tricks of the mind, I ended up well terrified and needing to be grounded by a friend.

  6. Rappers who publicly support gay marriage

    ibetmittromney:

    • Kanye West
    • Jay-Z
    • Nicki Minaj
    • 50 Cent
    • Lil B
    • A$AP Rocky
    • Fat Joe
    • Queen Latifah

Please stop fucking acting like Macklemore is this special snowflake for being a rapper who supports gay marriage. I know yall love to pretend that black people are homophobes, so obviously the music we make must be homophobic, but that is bullshit and Wacklemore is not the first rapper to publicly support gay marriage.

  8. Who’dathunk?

Turns out it’s easier to write a Spanish composition when you have an idea what you want to say, than it is to attempt to translate a bout of writer’s block into Spanish.

Which is to say, I finally completed my homework. All I “need” to do now is finish up my extra one.
